The sickness benefit is Eur10.81 per day for a single person, or a married person with spouse working or a separated person not maintaining a spouse. In the other cases, the sickness benefit is Eur16.72 per day. The sick employee or any of his/her relatives must go every week to his local labour office and hand in a copy of the medical certificate. The sick leave benefits will be received by post. |
