 Alexia joined the audit department at 3a after 3 years of professional experience with a mid-tier international audit firm. Her role is that of an Audit Senior, assigned to work on a portfolio of local and international audit clients. She is also involved in the accounting and audit of a number of gaming and betting companies. Her experience includes the preparation of IFRS compliant financial statements, the preparation of detailed management accounts and internal controls reviews. Alexia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of Malta which she achieved in 2008 after having submitted a dissertation focusing on the Implementation of major internal controls in Malta-based Remote Gaming Companies. Presently, she is undertaking an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation hosted by the Malta Institute of Management
