Company redomiciliation to Malta |
Redomiciliation means that a company incorporated and registered in another country, may be transferred and continued in Malta without the need of closing them and incorporating a new company in Malta.Companies that are incorporated outside of Malta may change their domicile to Malta under certain terms and conditions. The main advantage is that foreign companies that carry out a redomiciliation to Malta will start to benefit from fiscal and other incentives emanating from Maltese legislation. Some conditions exist foremost that the law of the foreign jurisdiction must permit a company to migrate; this must be proved to the Maltese authorities by proper proof, usually in the form of a declaration from the foreign authority.
