Malta has recently signed a double tax convention with the Republic of Montenegro. The double tax treaty was signed by Foreign Affairs Ministers Tonio Borg and Milan Rocen during a meeting in Marseilles.

The Malta-Montenegro treaty continues to expand Malta’s double tax treaty network with East European Countries. The treaty is still awaiting ratification by both Contracting States prior to coming into force.

Details of the double tax treaty will be issued as soon as the text of the treaty will become available.
